Along with Circular Economy Club Tokyo and Social Innovation Japan, So Now co-hosted an exclusive screening of 'Closing the Loop’, the world’s first feature-length documentary film on the circular economy by Emmy Award winner Graham Sheldon and presented by Prof. Dr. Wayne Visser.
The documentary explores 5 key strategies for achieving circularity, extending the conventional 3Rs to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Renew and Reinvent.
The screening alongside a live commentary and a panel discussion by Sann Carrière and other industry leaders, allowed viewers to learn about Circular Economy in the global and Japanese context. More than that, it gave them the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of change-makers ranging from entrepreneurs to students and non-profit organizations, and allowed them to contemplate what is next for the Circular Economy in Japan.
